Ashley’s Journey
Kris bought the kit at “Quilt Mercantile” in Celeste, Texas a few years ago. The pattern is in a book called, “pieces of Pie” (second edition) and it is called “Ashley’s Journey”. Fabrics are from Moda line called “Lulu-Chez Moi. I did my “simple flower with leaf in a yellow thread by Omni Threads. Kris used a cotton batting.
Kevin’s Quilts
First is “Southwest Inspiration” made with “Kona Fabrics”. I did my “southwest swirl” all over in cream thread by “Omni Threads. Kevin also chose a fantastic backing from fantabulousbacks.com by “kimberbell” of Maywood Studios. A Warm and White batting by “The Warm Company” was used. His second quilt is a Nine patch, irish chain made with Kaffe Fassett fabrics. This quilt is an auction quilt and I did large stipple all over in a cream thread color by Omni Threads. A backing was chosen from fantabulousbacks.com by Alessia for P&B Textiles. Again, a warm and white batting from the “Warm Company” was chosen.
Fran’s T-Shirt Quilt
Fran has more energy than any client I have and she is a beginner! She made this T-Shirt quilt for a friend. I did “race tracks” all over in a gray thread from Omni Threads. She is gonna add more blocks on the right side of the quilt which is why kept at least 3′ without quilting. A warm and white batting from “The Warm Company, was used.
Sally’s T-Shirt Quilt
The T-shirts in this quilt came from the family of a man who passed away. I did waves all over in “harbor sky” by Omni Threads. A cotton batting was used.
And On the Farm & Sewcialites
First is “On the Farm” by STACY IEST HSU. I quilted “Eggs” all over in a white thread color by “Omni Threads”. A Warm and Plush” from the “Warm Company” was used.
Second quilt, Sewcialites Sew Along. Tiffany used mostly Apricot & Ash Fat Quarter Bundle with a bit of scraps. I did a feather (one of my versions) all over in a cream thread color by Omni Threads. Tiffany doubled her cotton batting on this.
Note From Carrie
Pictures are frustrating! I got this incredible computer from my husband, Jeff, a Surface Pro 8. We hoped that pictures would be easier coming directly from the computer. Not so! easier yes but the quality is crap!
Going back to my IPhone Max Pro. Please be patient, we will perfect this!
