I get many quilts that have been put together from the past. This one is no different. The focus is the “pillow fronts”. These were embroidered years ago. The only option for quilting is stipple. Most of my clients don’t want any stitching in the blocks. You have to do stitching in the blocks!! Even though they are stabilized, they will eventually sag without stitching. I did a very “loose” stipple inside those blocks. My client also chose an extra wide backing fabric from fantabulousbacks.com . She also chose warm and natural for her batting!
