Michael’s Baby Quilt
Well, this is a new design that i came up with in my head. Michael asked, “can you do rainbows”? I used a variegated thread from King Tut called “cotton candy”. Michael used a cotton batting.
Ombre Gems
Ombre Gems by Quilting Love. Nancy used 1 1/2″ jelly rolls and she used Ombre jelly rolls of V&Co Fabric. She bought the “Road To California” fabric this year and she used it for the backing. I did ” loopy Lasso” all over in a white thread by Omni Threads. A warm and natural batting by The Warm Company was used.
Cowboy’s and Indians
Faith made this quilt using fabrics from Alexander Henry including the native print in the center. The back is a corderoy print, sorry for the wrinkles, Faith told me to toss it out and I did but I had to retrieve it back for her for another quilt, hahaha, at least it was “my trash and not the “household trash”!! I did a “loopy Lasso” which was perfect for this and did it in a light tan by Omni Threads. Faith also chose a warm and plush by The Warm Company.
Gaylon’s Quilts
1st one is a stack and whack. I did my “iron scroll” in a thread color by Omni Threads called “barley”. 2nd quilt is a nine patch. I did roses (free motion) all over in a cream thread color by Omni Threads
Tumbler
On this tumler quilt, I did my “simple flower” in a bright white thread color by Omni Threads. An extra wide quilt back was chosen for the backside of the quilt from fantabulousbacks.com called “daisy dance” by Kanvas Studios. A warm and white batting from The Warm Company was used.
Rail Fence
Rail fence! This quilt was huge, it measured 111′ x 117′ so, it definitely was a challenge to fit an extra wide back. Luckily, there is some stretch to the back when it is pinned at the selvage when it is on the longarm. I did echo swirls all over in a light tan thread color by Omni Threads. Prairie Vine by Kim Diehl was the choice of 108″ wideback from fantabulousbacks.com and a warm and white batting from The Warm Company was used.
